The series aired on Hum TV as part of a night programming all under Duraids production company. Beautiful locations, lavish sets, stunning costumes and overall remarkable art direction make Bin Roye not only a true visual treat, but also a perfect Eid surprise. Created and produced by Momina Duraid, Bin Roye it is co-directed, Shahzad Kashmiri and Haissam Hussain and was written by Farhat Ishtiaq based on her novel of similar name. The great Shoaib Mansoor with his acclaimed film Khuda Ke Liye broke the jinx on Pakistani. Technically and aesthetically speaking, the film is superb. Bin Roye: Mahira Khan as Saba and Humayun Saeed as Irtiza. Khan's performance is complemented well by the seasoned actors Saeed, Javed Sheikh and Zeba Bakhtiar. We were promised a cinema and sky garden, instead we get leaks, broken lifts and dirty windows: Life in the luxury tower block with flats costing 4,000. By watching the movie, it's not hard to figure out these scenes. The film's male lead, the actor/director Humayun Saeed, feels there are two scenes in the film that are highlights of Khan's career.

Mahira Khan possibly delivers her best performance to date as Saba tries to master jealousy, rage, guilt and pain.

Khan is known for her brilliant depiction of emotional distress and gets enough opportunities to display her talents here. An ambitious girl seeks out her destiny and true love, when tables start to take a turn she meets a man who gives her a completely new perspective to life and love. Bin Roye is Mahira's movie, and she carries it well. As a naive young girl hopelessly in love, a jilted lover, and then a reluctant wife, the evolution of Saba breathes life into each character. Saba, portrayed by Mahira Khan (who appeared in Humsafar), is definitely the highlight of the movie. bin roye has had the strange distinction of three directors: momina duraid and shehzad kashmiri and haissem hussain but if we count the two songs directed by sarmad sultan khoosat and asim raza it makes a whopping total of five. This film explores how love and hate can go side by side”.

Ishtiaq's novel Humsafar was also made into a 2011 TV serial which became a super hit under the same title.Īccording to Duraid, the film “is all about emotions and the fact that any emotion, especially love, is not simple. The story is based on the book Bin Roye Aansoo (Tears Without Crying) by Farhat Ishtiaq and is a complex love triangle between Saba, her sister Saman, and their cousin Irtiza.
